Oilfield Account Executive

Position Objectives:

· Identify and develop new business opportunities with oil and gas companies and engineering firms

· Meet assigned revenue objectives

· Acquire and grow new accounts

Position Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a database of targeted prospects

· Keep abreast of changes, trends in oil & gas industry, attend trade shows and conferences

· Establish, strengthen, and maintain relationships with appropriate executives, managers, and employees of clients and target clients

· Write and send letters, emails, and proposals to clients and potential clients

· Maintain records of client correspondence and tracking system for ensuring follow up tasks are completed


Salary and incentive-based compensation based on experience and sales quotas


Minimum 2-Year Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering

Experience & Skills:

Ideal candidate would possess the following skills, experience and expertise:

· Ability to assimilate and understand Energy/ Oil and Gas industry technical concepts

· Familiarity and experience with oil and gas energy goals and market, the regulatory and political environments driving oil and gas industry

· Ability to identify, qualify, and contact high-level decision makers and cultivate client relationships

· Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Demonstrated track record to negotiate and close a complex sale

· Expertise in proposal writing

· Oral and written business etiquette a must
